HONORS 100

I wanted to make sure that the first version of my portfolio was available on this site. It includes some original reflections and assignments that I completed as a baby freshman during the 1-credit seminar course. Looking back at it, I am surprised by some of my responses. Most importantly:  Harry Potter totally DOES count as sophisticated literature-reading (see Assignment #1 on the link) - I don't know what I was thinking.  I also reviewed my first 4-year plan, and realized that plenty of those Econ classes I will NOT take, but might supplement with LSJ or Political science courses, as well as Drama. Also, in my final reflection (Homepage) I posited that college IS REAL LIFE... no. I'm guessing it is not - it is more whimsical and fun than I imagined, and a different kind of work. It makes me appreciate the fact that there are things you can do in college that are so much harder to explore once you've left its hallowed halls.

P.S. To update regarding my freshman-year concern about finding foam-art coffee on the Ave (see Assignment #1) ... this story ends happily. I had a great foam-art latte at Cafe Solstice a few months ago. All hail the Ave.
